1. Which are the States, Universities and Institutions participating in AIPMT 2016 for filling up of MBBS/BDS seats under their control?

Ans.
Besides under 15% merit positions of All India Quota seats, the following States/Universities/Institutions have also consented to use the merit list of AIPMT 2016 for admission to MBBS/BDS seats under their control:

2. Whether the exam will be offline or online?

Ans. AIPMT 2016 will be an offline pen and paper test.

3. What is the examination date for AIPMT 2016?

Ans. The date of examination is 1st May, 2016 (Sunday).

4. What is the syllabus for AIPMT 2016?

Ans. The Question Paper of AIPMT 2016 shall be based on the syllabus as notified by the Medical council of India which is at Appendix-X of the Information Bulletin of AIPMT-2016 available on the website www.aipmt.nic.in.

5. What will be the pattern of AIPMT 2016?

Ans. The AIPMT 2016 consists of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only.

6. What are the duration/timings of AIPMT 2016?

Ans. The duration of AIPMT-2016 will be 03 hours from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m

7. Which are the cities where AIPMT 2016 will be held?

Ans. A list of examination centre cities is provided at Appendix-II of the Information Bulletin of AIPMT-2016 available on www.aipmt.nic.in. The list is also displayed on website separately.

Q8. How to fill up ‘online’ application form for AIPMT 2016? Are there any guidelines for the students before filling the application form?

Ans. Application form for AIPMT can be submitted only online through website www.aipmt.nic.in. Details are available under Clause 12 – Mode of submission of Application Form and fee details as provided in the Information Bulletin of AIPMT 2016.

Q9. If any candidate face problem in filling up of form, to whom can he approach?

Ans. Candidate can take the assistance of Facilitation Centres for submission of application form during working hours. Details are given at Appendix-VII of Information Bulletin.

10. How to remit fee for AIPMT 2016?

Ans. The examination fee for AIPMT 2016 can be remitted in the following manner:
1. Online payment through Debit/Credit Card
2. Payment through e-Challan at the branches of HDFC Bank/ICICI Bank/Syndicate Bank/State Bank of India [For details, please refer Clause 12 (pg. 6 & 7) of Information Bulletin.]

1. Where can I get the prospectus of DM/M.Ch/MD (Hospital Administration) & Fellowship Programme Entrance Examination January 2017 Session for admission to AIIMS, New Delhi?

Ans.The prospectus is ONLY available on the AIIMS website.
No hard copies are available.

2. How do I get a password for logging in?

Ans.A Candidate ID and Password will be sent to you on your registered email ID and mobile number. You are advised to remember the password and also retain a printout of your Registration form and admit card till completion of admission process.

In case you forget your Password, go to the ‘Forgot login details’ link on the login page and enter the following information to get Password:

  • Candidate ID.
  • Registered Mobile number.
  • Registered Email ID.A Password will be sent on your registered email ID.

3. Can I register after the last date?

Ans.  No, you cannot register after the deadline for registration has expired. No communication regarding requests for registration after the last date and time will be entertained. It is your responsibility to register well in time and avoid the last minute rush.

4. Can the names and other details be changed?

Ans. The following information furnished by the candidate CANNOT be changed after PAYMENT of registration fees:

  • Candidate’s name
  • DOB (Date of birth)
  • Category
  • OPH status
  • E-mail Id
  • Mobile number

All the other details can be edited till the last date of registration.

5. How can I communicate through Email with the Examination Section, AIIMS?

Ans. You can communicate with the Examination Section, AIIMS using your Registered e-mail ID only. The email address of the examination section being – exams.ac@gmail.com. Please mention your Candidate ID / Registration Number, Name and Course applied for while submitting the emails.

6. What are the documents required to be uploaded with my application?

Ans. No documents are required to be uploaded during the Online Registration/Application process, but you have to UPLOAD images of your Photograph, left thumb impression and signature at the time of registration.

7. What are the instructions regarding OBC, SC, ST and PH certificates?

Ans. Please read Instructions given in the Prospectus regarding the above mentioned certificates carefully. The requirements/formats are clearly mentioned therein. Certificates as mentioned in the prospectus ONLY will be considered/accepted.

8. Can I modify my choices of City of Examination after payment of Examination Fee through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking?

Ans. No, after payment of Examination Fee through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking, the City for examination will not be changed.

9. Will I require Original documents to get the admission at AIIMS, New Delhi?

Ans. Yes, candidates without original certificates/documents will not be allowed to participate in the admission process.

10. Can take photograph & other images by mobile phone camera for uploading in registration form?

Ans. Photograph should not be taken by mobile phone camera. Black & White / Polaroid photographs are NOT acceptable including “selfies”. Photograph should be taken professionally, so that it may not blur while enlarging it.

1. What is All India Pre-medical/Dental Entrance Test (NEET)?

Ans: NEET is an Entrance Test for selection of candidates for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under 15% All India Quota seats in Government Medical/Dental colleges of India under the control of DGHS, Govt. of India except in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana.

1. I have Class XII pass certificate and the marks statement as a separate document. Which document should I upload during the JEE (Advanced) 2017 registration?

Ans. Upload the Class XII marks statement

2. Can I get question papers in English as well as in Hindi?

Ans. Candidates will get only one question paper – either English question paper or Hindi question paper but not both.

3. Will the question paper be bilingual (both in Hindi and English)?

Ans. No. You will get the question papers in only one language (English or Hindi).

4. I have appeared in Class XII examination in 2017. Will I be able to register for JEE (Advanced) 2017 without uploading Class XII certificate?

Ans. Yes. The candidates who appeared in Class XII examination in 2017 do not have to upload any document with respect to Class XII Examination.

5.Can I get the question paper in Hindi language?

Ans. Yes. JEE (Advanced) 2017 offer question papers in two languages: English and Hindi. Candidates have to choose the language option during the JEE (Advanced) 2017 registration.

6.Writing Paper-1 and Paper-2 in JEE (Advanced) 2017 compulsory ?

Ans. Yes, it is compulsory. If a candidate is absent in one of the papers, then the candidate will be considered as absent from the examination.

7.What is my login id to apply for JEE (Advanced) 2017?

Ans. Your login is your JEE (Main) roll number. The password is same as that used for JEE(MAIN).

8. Are PIO and OCI card holders eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2017?

Ans. Yes. PIO and OCI card holders are eligible. Please refer to the relevant section of Information Brochure for more information.

9.Are PIO and OCI card holders eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2017 without writing JEE (MAIN)?

Ans. No. This option is available to foreign candidates only

10. Do I need to enter my mobile number in the application form for JEE (Advanced) 2017?

Ans. Yes, you need to have at least one valid mobile number in the application form.

1. Who is eligible for JEE Main 2017?

Ans. For JEE(Main)-2017, Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2015 or2016; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2017 are eligible to appear in JEE(Main)- 2017. Candidates who passed Class 12th/Qualifying examination in 2014 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2018 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2017. Candidates who appeared in class 12th/equivalent qualifying Examinations in 2014, did not pass in 2014, but passed in 2015 are also not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2017.

2. Candidate who have recently submitted the request for updation in Aadhaar details (including biometric updation) and unable to apply with the updated Aadhaar Card Details?

Ans. Such Candidates have to apply for JEE (Main) by entering 14 digits Aadhaar Enrolment ID/UR No. (Including slash) printed on the slip issued by aadhaar centre after submitting updation request.

3. Will a candidate have a choice to change the mode of examination?

Ans. Yes, but a candidate can change mode of examination from pen & paper examination to computer based examination.

4. What mistakes can be corrected during month of January 2016 when the corrections will be allowed by the Board?

Ans. The correction in particulars can be done only if the candidates have paid the fee and completed all the steps of online application form of JEE (Main) – 2017. The candidates can modify all the particulars including city of examination, Paper – 2 to Paper -1 and vice versa or select both papers of his/her application form during the facility of correction in January, 2017. The balance fee, if any due to correction in particulars, will have to be paid by the candidates during that period. However change of mode of examination from computer based to pen paper based examination is not allowed.

5. While paying the fee, what a candidate can do in case of failed transaction?

Ans. If the payment status of online transaction (by credit/debit card) is not communicated by payment gateway in real time then fee payment is not completed and candidate will not be able to download acknowledgement page. In this case, the candidates are required to pay the fees again either through online transaction or by e- challan and download the acknowledgement page. Your amount of failed transaction of credit/debit card will be refunded back within 7 to 10 days to card account. In case, fee payment is made through e-challan and the fee is not updated on the website, the candidate should contact the concerned bank/branch for updation of fee. Even if the challan is not updated by the bank till last date, such candidates should send the copy of paid e-challan through e-mail on jeemain@nic.in.

6. What action is to be taken, if the candidate has opted English medium for examination and wants to appear Hindi/Gujarati in medium?

Ans. Such candidates should do the correction in their application form as mentioned in point 1 above. In computer based examination, candidates can choose the medium on their screen during the examination.

7. What action is to be taken, if the candidate has entered incorrect Aadhaar enrolment Id or want to update their Aadhaar number.

Ans. Such candidates may also do the correction as clarified in point 1 above.

8. The candidates applied for both paper 1 & Paper 2 but do not want to appear in Paper – 2 or Paper -1?

Ans. There is no compulsion for such candidates to appear in both papers, they can appear in the paper of their choice. But there is no refund of fee.

9. When the candidates appearing in class 12th examination in 2017 or improvement examination in 2017 will enter their roll number of class 12th?

Ans. The option of entering Roll Number is not mandatory, if it is allotted then mention it, otherwise leave it empty and fill the remaining options in the JEE (Main)- 2017.

10. What action is to be taken, if the candidate has submitted more than one application?

Ans. Normally, at the time of issuing admit card of JEE (Main) both the application of a candidate (which appear to be similar) are merged and only one admit card is issued. However, the candidate should send e-mail to jeemain@nic.in mentioning both the application numbers and specifying clearly the application number which they want to be considered.
