Ans: PSUs recruit all throughout the year; there is no specific timetable for recruitment process as such. And, it depends on the requirement of PSUs, whenever they have a requirement; they come up with recruitment drive.
2. What is the recruitment procedure for PSUs?
Ans: PSUs follow two procedures:
1. GATE exam + GD + Interview
2. Written exam + GD + Interview
3.What is the exam pattern for PSUs?
Ans: The exam pattern varies from company to company. Generally written exam consists of technical subjects, English, current affairs. Those students who qualify written exam will be called for Group Discussions followed by Interviews.
4. What is the syllabus for PSUs?
Ans: The syllabus is defined in the notification of respective PSU recruitment advertisement. Generally, the technical syllabus includes all engineering subjects and non-technical syllabus includes current affairs, English and Aptitude.
5. How many PSUs are there in total?
Ans: Presently there are more than 250 plus PSUs companies. These companies fall in different categories like Maharatna, Navratna, Miniratna Category-I, Miniratna Category-II and so on.
